What could you help me with?
People choose to work with me for a variety of reasons:

Won’t you just tell me what I already know?
Very probably. But ‘knowing’ and ‘doing’ are two different things. I can support you
in taking action and making the changes necessary to get your business where you
want it to be.
How quickly can I expect to see results?
Whatever the reason for you seeking support, you will usually begin to see some
results quite quickly. Wherever possible, we’ll aim for some ‘quick wins’ as this helps
build confidence and motivation. Ultimately, how long the process takes overall does
depend on exactly what you want to achieve and how committed you are to taking
the necessary steps to get there. Sometimes, a straightforward issue can be dealt
with in a short period of time but typically, lasting change takes a little longer. Either
way, I’ll always get you there as quickly as possible.
How will I know when we’re done?
Usually it is clear when a project is reaching a natural end, either because you have
achieved your goals or because you are confidently working towards them and no
longer feel in need of additional support or motivation.
If you are looking more for ongoing support on a fractional basis as part of your team
or NED then we would work on a rolling basis with an agreed notice period for as long
as it suits you.
What happens if it doesn’t work?
I’m not there to tell you what to do but to agree with you a route forward, making
good use of our combined knowledge and experience. Assuming that you are open
and committed to making agreed changes, it WILL work.
Where would we meet?
We can meet wherever and however best works in your particular situation. I’m
currently based centrally in Northamptonshire so can easily travel in any direction.
For most clients, it’s a combination of on company premises, off-site, online and
over the phone.
What about confidentiality?
You can be sure that anything we discuss will remain completely confidential
at all times.

Consultancy delivers excellent value when you consider the significant improvement

requirements and I can be as involved as you want me to be so we’d agree costs at
the outset and regularly review to ensure that you continually enjoy value for money
from our partnership.
What qualifies you to help me?
Having worked at the sharp end in multiple businesses across a wide variety of
industries, you could say I'm qualified by experience but I'm also a Fellow of the
Chartered Management Institute and have a Diploma in Management Studies.
What's with the all the pebbles?
Beach pebbles are shaped by time, movement, and patience. Each pebble helps
smooth and polish those around it. Good people and good businesses do the same.
